Prairie Show Choir Invitational is a full day of amazing talent. The event is a school-supported largest fundraiser through Prairie Music Association. PMA provides volunteer and financial support to both vocal and instrumental programs in grades K-12 throughout the district.

2022-23 Show Choir Competitions

Cedar Rapids Prairie High School Choral Department has three traditional choirs are offered, and students can also be involved in two additional show choirs as well as the select Chamber Choir.  The choirs at Prairie perform in several concerts and local performances throughout the year.  The Prairie show choirs perform locally and compete throughout the Midwest.  Every three years, the Prairie Music Department travels with 250 band and choir students to participate in workshops and competitions at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
